Turn

Christian, it is by grace we have been saved, through faith. But this is not our own doing, it is a gift from God, not a RESULT of works, so that no one may boast. (Eph. 2:8 &9) But let us not deceive ourselves for, “we were created in Christ Jesus for good works!” We were not saved by our works, but we are saved FOR good works!

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in NEWNESS of life. (Romans 6:1-4) Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” (Act 3:19) For when Jesus said “Neither do I condemn you,” He also said, “go, and FROM NOW ON SIN NO MORE.” (John 8:11b)

We must seek to see the stain of our sin, acknowledge it before our Holy God, admit our inability to walk away from it in our own strength, and seek His strength alone. We must fall to our faces and seek to see the places where sin lurks, to uncover it, to expose it. For when it is uncovered it is exposed to the Light! REPENT AND BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL!

Remember Christian that it is written, “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and TURN from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14)”.
