Christian, if the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; (Galatians 5:22-23), and we are to be filled with this fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ (Phil 1: 11) then WE MUST WALK IN A MANNER worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, BEARING FRUIT in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Complacency is a false god. Mediocrity, the Asher pole of the modern day church, dead religious observance an idol of death. We are called for so much more! Abide in Him, and He will abide in you, and you WILL bear much fruit, apart from Him you can do NOTHING! (John 15:5)
